April 13th was the fateful day that our precious Spiritual Director, Ven. Lama Thubten Zopa Rinpoche, suddenly passed away at Kopan, his monastery in Nepal. The news quickly spread all over the world and thousands of his disciples in the FPMT centres have been saying prayers for Rinpoche’s quick reincarnation as recommended by His Holiness the Dalai Lama.
In 1993 Rinpoche was one of the founders of MAITRI Charitable Trust, a member of the FPMT.
